
A perfect summer drink to keep you cool, hydrated, and refreshed!
Ingredients:
* 2 tbsp roasted jau sattu (barley flour)
* 1½ cups cold water
* ½ tsp roasted cumin powder
* ¼ tsp black salt (adjust to taste)
* 1 small green chili, finely chopped (optional)
* 1 tbsp lemon juice
* Few fresh coriander leaves, chopped
* A pinch of regular salt
* Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl or shaker, mix the roasted jau sattu with a little water to form a smooth paste (prevents lumps).
- Add the remaining water and mix or shake well.
- Add lemon juice, roasted cumin, black salt, green chili, and chopped coriander.
- Stir thoroughly. Adjust salt and spices to your preference.
- Serve chilled. Add ice cubes if desired.
