Brown Rice Pulao

This recipe comes together quickly and is a nutrient-packed, wholesome meal.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 tbsp basmati brown rice
  • 60 g mushrooms
  • 2 tbsp diced zucchini
  • 3 tbsp diced broccoli
  • 2 tbsp diced French beans
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp oregano and paprika powder
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash and soak the basmati brown rice for 15 minutes. Then, pressure cook the rice on high flame for 8 minutes, and let it simmer on low flame for 8 minutes.
  2. Sauté the sliced mushrooms, diced zucchini, broccoli, and French beans. Add cooked rice and salt to taste.
  3. Serve hot.
