Relish the simplicity of our grilled fish recipe- charred to perfection, each bite a savory sensation.

For Marination:

  • ¼ teaspoon coriander powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sunflower oil
  • 1 medium green chilli
  • ¼ teaspoon powdered turmeric
  • ½ tablespoon blanched & peeled tamarind
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 handful of coriander leaves
  • ¼ teaspoon powdered red chilli
  • 1 handful of dill leaves
  • 150 g fish fillets

Method:

  1. Gently massage the fish fillets with oil and set aside on a plate.
  2. Grind together the garlic, green chillies, dill, coriander, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  3. Add oil and grind to a paste. Add the tamarind extract and mix well.
  4. Rub this paste all over the fish fillets and set aside to marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
  5. Grill the marinated fish on a preheated grill or oven until golden and crisp on both sides or for 5 minutes. Remove to a plate.
  6. Pour lime juice as a dressing and serve immediately with a salad of your choice.
