Relish the simplicity of our grilled fish recipe- charred to perfection, each bite a savory sensation.
For Marination:
- ¼ teaspoon coriander powder
- ¼ teaspoon sunflower oil
- 1 medium green chilli
- ¼ teaspoon powdered turmeric
- ½ tablespoon blanched & peeled tamarind
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 handful of coriander leaves
- ¼ teaspoon powdered red chilli
- 1 handful of dill leaves
- 150 g fish fillets
Method:
- Gently massage the fish fillets with oil and set aside on a plate.
- Grind together the garlic, green chillies, dill, coriander, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and salt.
- Add oil and grind to a paste. Add the tamarind extract and mix well.
- Rub this paste all over the fish fillets and set aside to marinate for 15 to 30 minutes.
- Grill the marinated fish on a preheated grill or oven until golden and crisp on both sides or for 5 minutes. Remove to a plate.
- Pour lime juice as a dressing and serve immediately with a salad of your choice.
