This recipe is packed with protein-rich hung curd and fresh herbs- a nutritious choice for a quick meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
- ½ tsp chopped mint leaves
- Seasonings to taste – oregano, paprika, pepper (optional)
- 2 slices of whole wheat bread
- Stuffing – 2 tbsp hung curd (curd strained in a muslin cloth or strainer to drain the extra water)
- 1 tsp white butter or desi ghee
- Grated carrot
Method:
- Mix the hung curd with the herbs until well combined.
- Heat a pan, toast the whole wheat bread on the it and apply ghee or white butter.
- Toast both sides of the whole wheat bread until brown and crispy.
- Take the toasted slices and prepare a sandwich with the stuffing made from the hung curd mixture.
