Hung Curd Sandwich

This recipe is packed with protein-rich hung curd and fresh herbs- a nutritious choice for a quick meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
  • ½ tsp chopped mint leaves
  • Seasonings to taste – oregano, paprika, pepper (optional)
  • 2 slices of whole wheat bread
  • Stuffing – 2 tbsp hung curd (curd strained in a muslin cloth or strainer to drain the extra water)
  • 1 tsp white butter or desi ghee
  • Grated carrot

Method:

  1. Mix the hung curd with the herbs until well combined.
  2. Heat a pan, toast the whole wheat bread on the it and apply ghee or white butter.
  3. Toast both sides of the whole wheat bread until brown and crispy.
  4. Take the toasted slices and prepare a sandwich with the stuffing made from the hung curd mixture.
