Ingredients:
- ½ cup Split yellow moong dal
- 1 handful Chopped cucumber
- 1 no. Carrot grated
- 1 no. Green Chili, chopped
- 1 no. Chopped cucumber
- 1-2 no. Lime, juiced
- Salt to taste
- Chaat masala to taste
Method:
- Soak the Moong dal for 30-60 mins. Once it swells up, you can boil it in salted water for 5-7 mins or use as it is.
- Drain it completely, leave to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the dal, carrots, cucumber, chilies and chopped coriander.
- Add salt, lime juice and toss well. You can also add Chaat masala
- Serve with an extra lime wedge
You can also add: Crushed peanuts, Toasted garlic, Chopped bell peppers, Chopped onion, Chilli powder, Grated coconut
