A harmonious blend of savory mushrooms and wholesome wheat, making it a perfect meal.

Ingredients:

For Stuffing:

  • 150 grams mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green chilli, chopped
  • 1/4 piece Ginger
  • Handful of Coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Pinch of Turmeric
  • Pinch of Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Oil

For the Dough:

  • 3/4 cup Whole wheat flour
  • Water
  • Pinch of Salt

Method:

  1. Mix the flour, salt, and oil. Add enough water and knead into a dough. Set aside for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the oil. Add all the stuffing ingredients, and stir-fry until the mixture turns dry.
  3. Roll out round chapattis. Spoon the mushroom stuffing onto one chapatti. Place another chapatti on top and seal the edges by pressing them.
  4. Roll out into slightly thin paranthas.
  5. Heat a dry tawa (griddle) and roast the paranthas.
  6. Serve hot, applying 1/2 tsp of ghee on each parantha after serving on your plate.
