Ingredients:
For Stuffing:
- 150 grams mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 green chilli, chopped
- 1/4 piece Ginger
- Handful of Coriander
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Pinch of Turmeric
- Pinch of Garam masala
- 1 tsp Oil
For the Dough:
- 3/4 cup Whole wheat flour
- Water
- Pinch of Salt
Method:
- Mix the flour, salt, and oil. Add enough water and knead into a dough. Set aside for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil. Add all the stuffing ingredients, and stir-fry until the mixture turns dry.
- Roll out round chapattis. Spoon the mushroom stuffing onto one chapatti. Place another chapatti on top and seal the edges by pressing them.
- Roll out into slightly thin paranthas.
- Heat a dry tawa (griddle) and roast the paranthas.
- Serve hot, applying 1/2 tsp of ghee on each parantha after serving on your plate.
